Christopher Sachs is a wine and spirits professional based in Central New Jersey. He was classically trained in Culinary Arts at The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) where he took a short course in the study of wine. That’s where his love of food and wine really blossomed. Shortly after graduation, he worked in the restaurant industry at Ninety Acres in Peapack/Gladstone, NJ and End of Elm in Morristown, NJ.   After his last stint in restaurants, he dove into the world of wine retail and took on the role of Wine Director for CoolVines Inc. in Princeton, NJ and Jersey City, NJ. During his time at CoolVines, Christopher began studying with the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) at the International Wine Center in NYC and has since completed the Advanced Course in Wines and Spirits, passing with Distinction, as well as the coveted Diploma of Wines and Spirits, passing with Merit.   He currently works as a Sales Representative with Skurnik Wines and Spirits in the NJ/NY area and consults with various retail and restaurant partners on a daily basis. Christopher finds joy in exploring the world by way of wine, spirits, sake, and cider. Travel by Wine is his philosophy that a great bottle of wine can transport you around the world.
