My first passion in life was Spanish -- in my past lives I was a student of Spanish linguistics, a high school Spanish teacher, and even a medical interpreter. I was lucky to study abroad in both Spain and Argentina during my college years. Despite seeing historic cities and breathtaking landscapes, what I remember most was the role that food and in particular wine played in these cultures! Wine helped me feel more comfortable to speak, connect with strangers (who later became friends), and unlock the secrets that just couldn't be found in a classroom.Ever since, Spanish wine has kept me coming back time and time again, both personally and professionally. My goal in starting the Spanish Wine Guide was to blend all of my interests -- language, culture, wine -- into a unique virtual experience. Together we will learn about wine by understanding the regions, language and culture of the places it comes from. This is not your average wine tasting: it's a chance to experience Spanish wine in a unique, comfortable context! On that note, my tastings are a judgment-free zone. I will happily encourage and answer any questions you might have! You deserve to enjoy good wine, regardless of how much you know (or don't know!) about it.
